FAQS

How much does it cost?

The price starts from £450 yet prices may vary depending on your desired outcome.

How does the treatment for hyperhidrosis work?

It temporarily prevents the nerve from sending a signal to the muscle. The muscle then has reduced movement and ability to move the overlying skin. When treating excessive sweating, it is used to disable the eccrine and apocrine glands to stop them producing and secreting sweat.

What happens during the treatment?

A full consultation is carried prior to the procedure where the treatment is explained and any questions are answered. When you are ready, we apply numbing cream and it doesn’t take long - 10 to 15 minutes. We will mark out the area to be treated and use an extremely fine micro-needle to administer a very small dose of the treatment to each specific area. Lastly, post anti-bruising gel is applied to minimise visible effects after treatment.

What will it look like immediately after?

Your skin may be slightly red straight after treatment where the treatment was administered yet minimum bruising can sometimes occur.

What shall I do/not do after the treatment?

You will be given full post treatment instructions, which you must follow. Just remember do not rub or massage the area avoid strenuous exercise, hot baths, showers or saunas, do not lie flat and avoid alcohol for 12 hours.

How long does it last for?

Hyperhidrosis, excessive sweating treatments can last from 6 to 12 months as it varies for each client.

When will I see the results?

For some clients the results of the treatment are visible after 48 hours, although the full effects can take up to 2 weeks.
